A equipa norte-americana dos Apocalypse Gaming reforçou-se com quatro novos jogadores para a divisão de Counter-Strike 1.6. Os jogadores que entraram são os mesmos que há bem pouco tempo deixaram a equipa dos TEC, mais um membro experiente, que recentemente abandonou os TAU (estes que se uniram com os TEC). A equipa fica agora constituída por:

It all started when Connolly approached me and wanted to make a team because after this season CAL-i would be no more anyway. He had asked me while I was a full member in TEC so we were looking for other players. Then when the whole “TEC affair” happened it was obvious what we would do. Aimetti was set to be our 5th but at the last second flaked out and decided to rejoin zEx.

You’ve recently left TEC together with two other members due to some internal matters. We already got a statement from Elude, but what can you tell me about this mass departure?

After our CEVO match against Meepins I realized that I was wasting my time with TEC. We weren’t practicing at all. So I decided to leave. Shortly after that Jaden felt the same way then Elude decided to switch to Source and toOl didn’t agree with this decision, so he left as well.

Why did you choose Apocalypse Gaming to host this new and exciting Counter-Strike team?

Well there’s not much to say about this. Connolly was talking to their sponsors for a long time and they just wanted him to build up a CS 1.6 team for them. After that he contacted us and we accepted to join this new project.

What are your current team’s future plans?

We will be attending one of the qualifiers for Acon5 and also we plan on attending ESWC. That’s mainly everything for now, but regarding the long term plans you’ll just have to wait and see.
