Após a inactividade dos Drake no Counter-Strike, devido a resultados menos positivos, o site dos SK-Gaming realizaram uma entrevista ao capitão dos Drake.CS, Vignir Hrannar Vignisson, mais conhecido por WarDrake. Fiquem primeiro com o press-release do mesmo:

It took me a good while to put my thoughts to words and how to explain what is going on for us. Over the passing weeks people have been very inactive and it has hurt our performance very much, we have been losing to medium teams that we would have crushed any other day. Our EuroCup performance was unacceptable, but what can you expect from a team that does not practice, at all.

Thus we announce that Drake.CS is going inactive for unknown period of time, withdrawing from the UKCSL and CSGN. We will not be taking part in Icelands biggest online league, NetDeildin, whom we are the reigning champions of. As for Icelands biggest BYOC LAN, Skjálfti, there is a slim chance we will attend, but only time will tell.

However we WILL play our last game in the EuroCup against Team9, this will be our last official match so I recommend you get front row tickets and spectate the Icelandic Mighty DUCKS at there best, and of course we will make it an interesting match. Non of the starting five members ( MrRed, DynaMo, blibb, zombie & WarDrake ) will be joining any other CS team. And to quote Bad Boys, “We ride together, we die together.” As for our plans to attend the Summer CPL we have decided to cancel the trip. We will evaluate our position after the summer but until then, been fun and Good Game.

What were your expectations at the beginning with this team?

As I said ealier in the start we were playing only to have fun, and we remained like that that for a long perriod. It all changed after we won our CPL Dallas qualifier, it practicly represented the thing that we pushed us forward.
