Foi hoje anunciado pela Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) mudanças na organização, onde Frank Nuccio foi nomeado o presidente da Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL), fazendo com que Chris Moncivalles fique responsável por todas as divisões de Counter-Strike da CAL.

No press-release publicado no site oficial da CAL, foi também dito que brevemente serão anunciadas datas para vários torneios online de vários jogos, assim como as datas dos qualificadores online para
a competição da CPL Summer.

“The CPL announced today that Frank Nuccio has been appointed president of the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL). Frank brings his vast online gaming experience to CAL and will manage a number of new initiatives for the league.

Additionally, Chris Moncivalles will be returning as an Operations Director focusing primarily on the Counter-Strike divisions within CAL, and Chris Kitto will be resuming his position also as an Operations Director.

CAL will soon be announcing online tournaments for various games and online qualifiers for the tournaments at this Summer’s CPL Event.

The Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL), a division of the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL), has 175,000 registered members and holds year-round online tournaments for popular computer games.”
